All repository scanning happens locally on your machine. Repocheck does not upload your source code, configuration files, or scan results to any external server. Your code stays on your machine.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Upload source code
• Upload repository contents
• Track file contents
• Track commit history
• Track usage analytics
• Send telemetry
• Require user accounts

3. License Activation

If you use Repocheck Pro:

• License activation happens locally via a license key
• License verification is performed offline
• No source code or scan data is transmitted during license checks

In the future, optional online validation may be introduced to prevent abuse, but it will never transmit repository contents.

4. Website & Payments

Our website may collect limited information for processing payments (via Stripe) and sending license keys by email. This may include:

• Email address
• Payment metadata required to complete a transaction

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers and governed by their respective privacy policies.

5. Third-Party Services

When applicable, Repocheck uses Stripe for payment processing and email service providers to deliver license keys. We do not receive or store full payment details such as credit card numbers.

6. Data Retention

We retain only the minimum information required to deliver license keys, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations. We do not store repository data.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
